Beer Nuts

This awesome little recipe was inspired by Up North drinking home-brewed beer we needed something extra to tease the pallet… I figured beer nuts would go great. We had a lot of fun making these and doing a beer pairing after wards. Enjoy!

  • 2 Cups Peanuts or Pecans
  • 1/2 Cup Water
  • 1 Cup White Sugar 
  • 1/2 Tspn Salt
  • 1/4 Tspn Cayenne Pepper

Add Nuts, Sugar and Water to frying pan. Cook at medium high heat until water is gone, stirring regularly. Place Nut mixture onto aluminum foil covered baking sheet. Season with Salt and Cayenne Pepper. Place in 300 degree oven for 15 minutes. Take out and stir then bake another 15 minutes. Let cool and then put Beer Nuts into a serving dish. Cheers!
