Chili Relleno Casserole
A really easy all around great dish, that will have you begging for seconds. This Chili Relleno Casserole can feed a large group with ease. I’ve been making this dish for quite some time and it seriously never gets old. It goes over great for brunchs and I hope you all enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 1lb Ground Seasoned Turkey
  • 2 Cups Shredded Mexican Blend Cheese
  • 1 Onion (minced)
  • 3 Cloves Garlic (crushed)
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1/4 Cup Flour
  • 1 1/2 Cup 2% LowFat Milk
  • 1/2 tspn Tobasco
  • 2 7oz Cans Whole Green Chilis

Sautee the Turkey, Onions and Garlic together until Onions become soft and Turkey is cooked. Set mixture aside. In mixing bowl beat Eggs, Flour, Milk, and Tobasco until smooth. Set aside. Take 9×13 glass baking dish and layer in 1 can of chilies. Then layer meat mixture on top of that. Add 1.5 Cups of shredded cheese on top of that. Layer on the last can of chilies. Pour egg mixture in evenly over the dish. Place in oven preheated to 350 degrees F for 35 minutes. Pull out and add the rest of the cheese to the top and put back in the oven for 5 minutes.
